This robust Juno iris bears pale blue flowers at the leaf axils, the falls a lighter hue than the standards, accented with a cream-colored crest and yellow ridge on the falls. The flowers have a violet-like fragrance. One of the earliest to show foliage, but one of the latest to bloom. Introduced in 1889, hailing from SE Turkey, N. Iraq, Jordan, N. Syria.
